Not terrible. Huge variety of items, great service, usually fast checkout, and ample parking.
The clothing section is a bit bizarre to me but I imagine it’s there for a reason. Someone is buying the clothes there. And it’s convenient if you just need some socks or something I guess.
Make sure you check expiration dates on items. On two separate occasions this year, I've found items that were way overdue. First was Krave beef jerky which had an expiration date of October 2016 and the second instance was popcorn with a best by date of June 2017 (it is currently November 2017).
They have a very good beer and wine selection for a non-speciality store. It’s kind of like visiting the package store without actually having to go (just remember — no liquor). Got one of my favorite wines for $10, instead of $15.
The absolutely best Kroger in town! The store is beautiful in side and out, very clean and modern, feels like a Whole Foods/Trader Joes, but it had Kroger's low prices! The gas here is usually the cheapest around as well.
This store is great all around. Prices are competitive the meat and produce selections are far superior than any others in the Augusta area. One thing I found a little surprising is the Kroger branded products are often better made than name brand.
This Kroger has everything! From clothes, to produce, to delicious cafe foods, it has it all! Great coupons, great prices. I save so much money at this well-maintained store! You have to give it a visit!
HANDICAP INFO:
Handicap parking is plentiful, as are the robo-scooters. You might want a pad/cushion/pillow if you’ll be in the chair for a while as there is a bar under the built-in pad near the front edge that can start to hurt. If you need to keep you leg straight, you may need to get creative. I was able to fake it. Also the chairs make that annoying backing up sound like you’re a dump truck when you go in reverse which is embarrassing but that’s true at most stores. Still I was thankful when I had my broken leg that they had all of these accommodations for handicap people and they were very helpful at check out too!
One of the best Kroger’s I’ve ever been to. Staff was helpful, store was very clean, prices are great as always and they have a good selection! The produce was particularly great quality, though they had run out of cilantro (but herbs are hard to keep fresh in groceries anyway).
