I've been here for 3 years now; in 6th grade the teachers were amazing. Then, in 7th, they were even better. Finally, in 8th grade, these are the best teachers anyone could ask for. Amazing school!
This is a great school for incoming 6ths graders. The food is great, the teachers are the best and the staff is very supportive. But, one thing that messes up the school is the bus system. The bus drivers are great but do your best on avoiding the bad seats. I know from experience. There is lauguage and bad humor. But no matter what class you are in... GO RAIDERS!!!
This is one of the best schools I could have sent my son to. It's right across the street from our community.
Columbia middle is way better than most schools but it has a lot of issues. First of all, lots of the kids here need an attitude adjustment. They are rude to the teachers as well as other students. There is so much rumors and bullying going around. The teachers, on the other hand, are wonderful and keep the classroom alive with interactive help. My teachers offer free tutoring on certain days.
Worked there over 21 years, CMS is a family, not just a building with staff. I will always have a Raider's heart.
